Mission Statement
Matthew 28:18-20
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
NIV
Jesus gave us our Mission Statement when He said, Make Disciples. Therefore it’s our desire, to have a place that we as God’s people can gather together and Seek Him. Learn from His word and with the enablement of His Spirit be made further like Him.
In becoming a disciple: “pupil” of Christ we will be in the greatest place to be conformed into His image.
In being a disciple we seek to learn the ways of our Master.
Realize and maximize His Light through us here in this world.
Matthew 6:33
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
NIV
We simply desire to be a conduit in which God can do His will through all of us.
Ephesians 4:11-13
11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
NIV
We desire to be the heart and hands of Jesus to this world.
Ephesians 3:7-12
7 I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his power. 8 Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
NIV
I (David Reyna pastor) realize that this world is a difficult place and has the ability to cause great pain to people, but in the same breath I also must say that Jesus was correct when He expressed that we are to become His pupils since it’s His peace that helps us, His word that calms our hearts, His Spirit that enables us, His Face that shines through us, His love and Grace that carries us on.
2 Corinthians 4:5-6
5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
